ABOUT EDEN
Eden grew up in rural Arkansas with dreams of moving to a big city to chase her dreams. With the support of her hardworking mother, Eden became involved in the arts through competitive dance and community theatre. Having a love for the theatrics, Eden and her brother Gavin began competing at conventions with comedic dance duets set to musical theatre songs. She discovered that her passion for the arts was rooted in a yearning to embody a character and tell a story.
Knowing from a young age that her dreams would require hard work, Eden prioritized her academics. She is currently studying at the University of Arkansas to achieve a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Performance, with the support of the Taryn Classen Memorial Foundation scholarship. For her Honors College Thesis, Eden is currently working on an artistic adaptation of Virginia Woolf’s essay, “A Room of One’s Own.”
With tenacity and determination, Eden hopes to create a fruitful career in theatre that expresses who she is and what she stands for. In a world of political and social unrest and uncertainty, she hopes to find and provide a source of love and catharsis.
